All packaging is returnable, and features stack ability and ventilation to enhance the shelf life of fresh produce. In excess of ten million crates are supplied to the produce industry annually, and to achieve this, FCC operate high-tech washing plants in all major centres. They also operate a purpose built crate management system, to enable us to manage our crate pool, our customer’s accounts and crate deposits. We use recyclable plastics in all our packaging materials, and recycle all old crates.
